SANTA Claus paid a visit to a delighted audience at Carantoc Place community room, Carhampton, to deliver a sack full of presents and Christmas spirit.
Over 50 people attended the free annual event organised by Magna’s tenant panel, and they were treated to a host of festive fun, including a Punch and Judy show, a lucky dip, a raffle, free refreshments and a guess the weight of the Christmas cake.
The event also raised £120 for the Tenants’ Panel Community Lifeline Fund, which helps pay for a Careline for people who cannot afford the service.
Magna Tenants Panel chair Norma Stevens said: “It was an absolutely wonderful afternoon and the community hall was jam-packed with people.
“We all enjoyed seeing so many happy faces, especially with the youngsters when Santa arrived.
“The Tenants’ Panel would like to thank all the Magna staff who helped us organise this event for the local community.”
