THE Huntspill and Highbridge Scout Group have been getting ready for their Christmas card delivery service.
The Scouts have been busy getting all the boxes ready and volunteers, parents and young members all lend a hand to make sure the cards are delivered by Christmas Eve.
Look out for the distinctive green boxes which will be placed in businesses around the area, such as Pawlett Stores, The Crossways Inn, West Huntspill, The Crown Stores, East Huntspill and more.
Sue Hunter, spokesman for the group, said: “Last year we raised just under £1,000 - all of which goes into the group funds and helps to keep Scouting alive in our area.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supports our Scout Group by using this service and especially the businesses who allow our boxes to be placed in their premises.”
Cards are delivered to Pawlett, East and West Huntspill, Highbridge, Burnham and Berrow at a cost of 20p per card. Post your cards from until December 20.
