RESIDENTS at Towan’s Care Home in Burnham held their Christmas fair.
The festive event had refreshment stalls, cake stalls, a raffle and craft stalls Joanne Boobyer, activities co-ordinator at the care home, said: “It was really busy, one of the best winter fairs we’ve ever had.”
She also revealed that residents had some expert crafting skills.
Joanne said: “They helped to make items for the craft stalls and the things that sold the best were made by the residents.”
Donations were provided by some local shops including Costa Coffee, Pete’s Hairdressers and Tesco.
The fair raised £305, which will be put towards an outing for the residents.
