MOTORISTS in Wellington were left with long faces when they were held up by a rogue horse.
The runaway, pictured above after its capture, was seen galloping through the town centre before being detained outside H T Perry & Son in Mantle Street.
Eyewitness Terry Milton said: "I saw it run through the traffic lights. I could just heard car horns and the traffic was at a standstill."
It was stopped by Michael Ennis, above, right, and Martha Harley, who had followed it from her home in Nynehead.
Drivers had hoped it wouldn't be there furlong...
