COTFORD St Luke Primary School children have been getting their fingers green in the village.
Pupils from the Magnolia Class, their teacher, parents and villagers joined forces to plant bulbs.
Daffodil and tulip bulbs from Taunton Dean DLO were taken along by Shaun Cregan from Taunton in Bloom.
The bulbs were planted on the grass island in front of the school.
Barbra Stone, chair of Cotford Parish Council, said: “By planting the bulbs we hope it will generate an interest and a caring for flowers and plants within the village.
“As more environmental issues fall into the hands of the parish council, it becomes more important that our villagers become more involved and hopefully lend a hand in keeping out village beautiful.”
