LUCY Howard, winner of the BBC’S The One Show Artist of the Year, is exhibiting her work in Minehead.

This is Lucy’s debut exhibition showing her originals and limited edition print at Courtyard Framing and Gallery in Minehead.

Lucy, from Staple Fitzpaine, was picked as the winner by Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood who tipped her as a ‘national gem’.

The gallery was celebrating its 25th anniversary on Friday November 29.

It had been refurbished to mark the event.

Lucy was present at the celebrations and even Ronnie Wood was invited along.

Will Rayner from Courtyard Gallery said: “Unfortunately Ronnie didn’t make it, he did favourite the tweet inviting him so we were always hopeful.”
