A COMPANY based at Lopen Head has raised £1,200 for charity – by selling decorative toilet seats.
More than 20 pieces of unique toilet seat art brought in £600, with Probiotics International – manufacturers of Lepicol – matching the amount.
The money will be split between Toilet Twinning, which provides safe sanitation, clean water and hygiene education for people in third world countries, and Events for Namuwongo, which tackles issues including polluted water in a slum in Uganda.
