Fire crews and police attend chimney fire in Kingsbury Episcopi
A chimney fire in Kingsbury Episcopi this afternoon (November 24) saw fire crews from Yeovil, Somerton, Martock and Taunton battle to put out the blaze for almost an hour.
When crews arrived at 2.29pm the chimney was well alight at a terraced cottage and smoke had spread to the roof.
Police also attended the incident to control traffic due to the road closure.
Three appliances, a water carrier, and breathing apparatus was used.
The fire was extinguished by 3.21pm.
