Spooky Hallowe'en goings-on at Blake Gardens
ONLY the bravest souls dared to head down to Blake Gardens in Bridgwater last night.
Those that did were taken on a spooky guided walk through the town, and heard some chilling Bridgwater stories along the way, including about Guy Fawkes and Bridgwater Castle.
The Hallowe’en event, organised by The Bridgwater Way team, also featured games, giveaways, a competition to win a bike and ghostly story telling at the bandstand.
The Bridgwater Way, funded by the Department for Transport, aims to transform travel in the town by making cycling and walking for work, school and fun, easier and safer.
It includes 6.5miles of new or improved cycle paths and walking routes and a host of activities to encourage sustainable transport and ease congestion.
The project is being delivered through a partnership of Somerset County Council, Sustrans and Sedgemoor District Council.
