Person cut from car following crash near Lympsham
A MOTORIST had to be cut from their car following a crash near Burnham this evening.
One fire crew from Burnham fire station, one from Weston fire station and the rescue tendor from Glastonbury attended reports of a road accident at Hope Farm, Brean Road, Lympsham.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one vehicle with one casualty who was not physically trapped, but suffering from suspected back and neck injuries.
"Crews stabilised the vehicle and started glass management in preparation for roof removal and arrival of the recue tendor."
At 6.25pm one casualty was removed from the vehicle using rescue tools.
