Somerset dance star Deborah Meaden ready ahead of first Strictly Come Dancing eviction
DEBORAH Meaden made a confident start to her spell on Strictly Come Dancing with a graceful tango.
The 54-year-old Dragons’ Den star, who lives near Taunton, made her debut with partner Robin Windsor on the hit BBC show last week.
After taking to the floor, judge Craig Revel Horwood said he believed Deborah, who recently helped judge the County Gazette’s Flag for Somerset contest, could be a “really good” contestant.
The first elimination is due to take place on Sunday following Saturday’s performances.
Golf legend Tony Jacklin is the bookmakers’ favourite to be eliminated from the show this weekend. Other contestants include designer Julien Macdonald and rugby player Ben Cohen.
