Annette Bartlett, one of the organisers, said: “Our emphasis is on fun and fundraising and we encourage people of all ages to come along on the day to give their support to both worthy charities.”

Fun activities such as tombola, lucky dip and sumo suits will be available on the day.
The St Francis Cancer Support Centre is supported by Macmillan and is the only one of its kind in Lithuania to offer free day and short term residential care for cancer suffers and their families.
Sisters Solveiga Knight and Edita Neverauskiene both originate from Lithuania and linked together with sisters Annette Bartlett and Louise Doolan to organise the fun run.
All sisters have experienced cancer in their families.
Solveiga has just returned from a week in Lithuania where she attended the official opening of the St Francis Centre.
She said: “The centre will make such a difference to the lives of cancer sufferers in Lithuania and Macmillan has been amazing in their support.”
