HEADS turned in Minehead on Saturday when a parade of military vehicles made its way through the town.
The unusual convoy was part of the Big Adventure Day, organised by Exmoor National Park Authority and the Heart of Exmoor Scheme.
The free event at North Hill gave families the chance to learn about the hidden history of the venue, including its old radar station which was open to the public especially for the day.
There was also an orienteering challenge, family-friendly games and various eco activities.
National park ranger Adam Vasey said: “The Big Adventures are a great free family day out and we always get a fantastic turn-out.”
