BLUE skies and beautiful sunshine smiled on this year’s Dunster Show as it almost broke the record for cash taken on the gate.
Hundreds of sheep, cattle and horses were proudly shown off by owners of all ages, but in addition to the traditional aspects of the show there was so much to see and do.
Among the highlights were falconry displays, dog handling, a circus and popular stunt riders the Devil’s Horsemen.
Rebecca Langdon, secretary of Dunster Show Society, said: “It went really well and we had beautiful weather, drawing a lot of loyal supporters and more.
“The new food hall, organised by the society, went down very well – the producers were very pleased.
“We spread the show out a bit more and re-arranged things this year, and that seemed to work very well.”
