YOUNGSTERS at Isle Abbotts Playgroup have received a donation of dozens of trees thanks to a garden centre.
Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, in Monkton Heathfield, has donated the young ‘whips’ to the group, which meets at Isle Abbotts village hall.
Playgroup supervisor Christine Blake said: “At our playgroup we are running a project to teach the youngsters about plants and encourage them to be green-fingered.
“We would like to thank the garden centre for its generous donation, which is of great benefit to our gardening project.”
The giveaway is part of a series of collaborations between the garden centre and Taunton in Bloom.
