Young Farmers run 50 miles for charity

TWO young farmers from Wedmore and the Polden Hills have run 50 miles for charity.
Katie Nicholls, from Wedmore YFC, and Abbie Myers, from Polden Hills YFC, trained hard for the YFC South West Area Activities weekend earlier this month.
The event saw Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire Federations of Young Farmers compete against each other in various competitions from Ballroom dancing to Ten Pin Bowling.
Katie and Abbie ran to Sherbourne, Dorchester and Weymouth for their chosen charities; Parkinson's UK and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
