Puppy killed in vicious dog attack in Minehead Puppy killed in vicious dog attack in Minehead

A PUPPY was killed in a horrific dog attack in Minehead.

The incident happened at Alcombe Combe at 3.30pm on Wednesday when a woman was walking her 13-month-old puppy.

Two wire haired fawn coloured terrier dogs, which did not appear to have anyone with them, then attacked and killed the puppy.

The owner of the puppy tried to intervene but was then also bitten.

The woman believes there was a man walking two Springer Spaniels at the time who could have useful information to help the inquiry.

She believes there were others in the area who may have been bothered by the two dogs.

Police are treating the incident as dogs dangerously out of control in a public place - anyone with information should call 101.
