Paul Retallick murder trial enters closing stages

Paul Retallick Paul Retallick

THE trial of two men accused with the murder of Paul Retallick was delayed again today (March 19) as a juror was ill.

A spokesman for Bristol Crown Court has earlier told the County Gazette that the jury were expected to retire to consider their verdict this afternoon.

But another spokesman has since said that no proceedings took place today and the trial will continue tomorrow.

Father and son Michael McGinty, 55, Langport, and Lee McGinty, 25, both of Peony Road in Langport, deny murder charges between Saturday, September 15, and Monday, September 17.

Dad-of-three Paul Rettalick was found at a property on the Old Kelways Estate in Huish Episcopi near Langport last year.

The trial started on Monday, March 4.

The trial continues.
