Dawn goes purple for Comic Relief at Bishops Lydeard
PURPLE hair is just so this season for a lady from Bishops Lydeard who has already raised £300 for Comic Relief.
Gail Broom’s hair was dyed the unusual colour by Dawn Goulding, manager of Shine Hair Management, for free to boost the national charity’s funds as part of its annual Red Nose Day drive.
She said: “I have always wanted to dye my hair and never have, and it just all came together. It is such a good cause.
“My colleagues at Triscombe Nurseries think it’s brilliant. My 19-year-old son said ‘What are you doing’ at first, but he and my husband have both been very supportive.
“It’s great, I love it – I might end up keeping it. Everyone in the salon has said it suits me – it’s nice and bright.”
