A SPRING fair has been organised by friends of a teenager who died from a major brain haemorrhage a year ago.

Jemima Layzell, 13, went to Taunton School, and her friends have set up stalls for penguin racing, cake and plant sales, a nail bar and a beauty raffle to raise money to have two arches made out of steel to go over her memorial benches.

The fair takes place on Wednesday, March 20, from 4.15pm to 5.45pm in the Old Library at the school.

It has a theme of ‘Red Flower Power’ as red was Jemima’s favourite colour.
