Knocking up classics in Manor Court cookathon
BUDDING Jamie Olivers and Nigella Lawsons were able to practise their culinary skills last week at Manor Court Primary School in Chard.
It was certainly not a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth as would-be chefs took part in the national Let’s Get Cooking BIG Cookathon.
Pupils, parents and teachers all put on their aprons on Thursday to serve up some tasty treats.
Let’s Get Cooking was formed with support from a £20million grant from the Big Lottery in 2007, and has since helped more than two million people develop the skills to cook healthy and affordable meals from scratch.
