PICTURED are staff and arboriculture students from Bridgwater College, on a visit to specialist supplier Chew Valley Trees.

Mike Cullen, the college’s programme manager for arboriculture, said: “As well as instructing students in the theoretical and academic aspects of the industry, we also try to take them out into the world of work so that they gain some idea of the opportunities open to them once they finish their course.

“We are privileged to have this support from Chew Valley Trees, since experiences like this help our students to fine-tune their career aspirations.”
