THE family of a young man killed after a horror crash between junction 25 (Taunton) and 26 (Wellington) described him as a 'wonderful son'.
Daniel Gunn, 24, believed to be from the Tiverton area, died as a result of the injuries suffered when his car was involved in a single vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway at around 6.13am on Saturday morning.
His family including dad Keith, mum Maria, brother Jamie and sister Laura all thanked their family and friends for the kind support and thoughts they have received after their tragic loss of their 'dear son Daniel'.
They added: "He was a wonderful son, brother and everybody's true friend."

TWO other men involved in the same car during the collision have been named locally as Tom Pilling and Tom Moyes.
They are at Musgrove Park Hospital and said to be in a life-threatening condition.

A YOUNG man who was killed after his car was involved in a single vehicle collision has been named locally as Daniel Gunn.
The incident happened at around 6.13am on Saturday morning between junctions 25 and 26 on the M5 motorway.
The 24-year-old, believed to be from the Tiverton area, died as a result of injuries sustained and two others were taken to Musgrove Park hospital where their condition is said to be life threatening.
Sergeant Jim Whatley from the Roads Policing Unit said: "This is a serious incident in which a young man has tragically lost his life. I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was using the motorway network at this time who may have witnessed this collision."
The motorway was closed for around three hours.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.

A SPOKESMAN for Avon and Somerset Police has confirmed a man in his 20s died as a result of the incident on the M5 this morning.

IT is thought the motorway may be closed for up to three hours while investigation work is carried out. Drivers are advised to leave extra time for their journeys.

A SINGLE vehicle collision has resulted in the closure of the southbound M5.
It is believed one man has been killed and two others injured in the crash, which resulted in the closure of the motorway between junctions 25 and 26 shortly after 6am.
Traffic is being diverted through Taunton and severe delays are expected while recovery and investigation work is carried out.

You are right about what you did say, " lazy reporting"! Using social media is not a safe way of letting the public know what is happening "live". I think it is a cheap way of getting a story and not being responsible for what has been said.
