Taunton Deane MP backs revamp of nursing home garden
A PROJECT to rejuvenate a garden at a nursing home has receiving the backing of Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne.
The Prince’s Trust scheme saw volunteers raising money to help improve facilities at the Mountbatten Nursing Home in Trull Road.
Mr Browne said: “It was great to see the dedication and hard work this team of young volunteers have put into helping the home.
“This project has also given the young people from our area vital confidence and skills for the future. The garden is appreciated by residents and staff.”
Somerset Cricket Club all-rounder Arul Suppiah has also backed the project.
