HUNDREDS of people attended a vibrant community open evening at Chilton Trinity School.
The event, organised by Futures for Somerset (FfS), was held to showcase the school’s brand new facilities - which are available for use and hire by the community.
Guests toured the school and 1610 leisure facilities (including the brand new swimming pool and café) and attended free taster sessions such as: Indian cooking, table tennis, drawing workshop, pilates and various other activities.
The community use of spaces is being managed in partnership with the YMCA. To hire a space contact Nicky Parfitt on 01278-726006 or hire@bridgwaterymca.org.
A spokesman for FfS added: “Don’t forget, until April 12, 2013, there is a community grant available for up to £500 from Futures for Somerset to support new activities starting up at Chilton Trinity School.
