CHURCH of England worshippers in the Bath & Wells diocese – already among the most generous in the country – have dug even deeper this year.
A total of 98.5% of the sum requested of the 496 parishes by the ‘Common Fund’ is likely to be collected this year, even more than the previous two very good years.
