FIREFIGHTERS, police and paramedics were called to a single-vehicle collision in Kingscliff Terrace, Bridgwater, this afternoon.

Ambulance crews were first on scene, around 12.30pm, and requested help from firefighters because the vehicle was smoking.

One engine from Bridgwater was sent out.

A fire service spokesman said: “The crew confirmed on arrival that all persons were free and clear of the vehicle, and made it safe using small tools. Duty of care was left with the police.”
