20 homes to be built at Stogursey Lane in Nether Stowey

SHAL Housing has been granted permission for 20 affordable homes in Nether Stowey.
The flats and houses will be built on farmland off Stogursey Lane, which some opponents of the scheme say will cause problems for children having to cross the busy A39 to reach the village school.
The social landlord must provide cash towards children’s play space and outdoor sports facilities as part of the agreement with Sedgemoor District Council.
