Is Lotto winner from Ilminster?

A MYSTERY winner, known only as Mr C from Somerset, has banked a National Lottery jackpot without ever touching a ticket.

The lucky gent matched all six numbers to win the Lotto jackpot on Saturday, January 26, and took home a cheque for £1,314,707.

Mr C was playing Lotto through National-Lottery.co.uk. He has become one of the 4million plus winners each week on The National Lottery’s range of games. A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Well done to Mr C, he has banked this amazing prize with just a few simple clicks – he didn’t even have to pick up a ticket. If you play interactively, not only do we check your numbers, we also let you know you have won – it couldn’t be easier.”

Congratulations Mr C. If you are from Ilminster keep quite otherwise the town council will try to find a way to tax you for even more.

Perhaps Mr C is Mr Council and the Town Council have been "investing" in the lottery, hoping a big win will mean they will not need to increase the precept again next year.
