Eddie's fundraising badminton marathon at Millfield School
A SPORTSMAN diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease three years ago is taking part in a fundraising badminton marathon at the Barracuda Sports Hall at Millfield School, Street, this Sunday (February 10) from 9am to 9pm.
Eddie Lucas, 52, of Ashcott, said: “When I was diagnosed I wanted to do something to raise awareness and funds to help others.
“I was delighted with last year’s event, which raised £4,300, so I decided to do it all again.”
