THESE volunteers from Burnham hovercraft rescue charity BARB have used the charity’s two 4x4s to help doctors reach isolated patients across the area during recent heavy snowfall.

A BARB spokesman said: “Our volunteers have worked closely with the team at Burnham Medical Centre to provide safe transport during the severe weather which has been greatly appreciated by the staff and patients alike.

"BARB is happy to help where it can.”
