Rare birds sighted in Taunton Rare birds sighted in Taunton

SCORES of birdwatchers went to Dyers Lane, Bathpool, near the Bridgwater & Taunton Canal trying to photograph rare waxwings.

Photographer Nick Edge posted a photo online, saying: “I saw a total of 21 birds, could be more, and had great views.

“As can often be the case the birds were very confiding and at times very close.”
