Memorial tree plaques back up in Taunton
3:09pm Wednesday 16th January 2013 in News
Caroline Kelly, Jane Hofmeister, Helen Adams, Charlene Jeffries, Cllr Durdan and Gemma Swinburne.
MEMORIAL plaques have gone back on the trees near the Market House in Taunton after being taken down by mistake over Christmas.
Among the plaques removed were those to Bethany-Paige Adams, Lily-Mae Jeffries and the M5 crash victims.
The plaques were part of the Make Taunton Sparkle festive lights initiative as a reminder of people who died too soon. The families are working with Cllr Kelly Durdan and her helpers to have permanent plaques installed near the trees.

How many names can be put there before there is no more room for anyone else?
Sadly a plaque or a tree a bush, a bench will not bring people back, and the families really need to learn to cope with their grief and the loss of loved ones.
The general public really do not need a memorial garden such like, to be on display in public places full time.
Ok this may have been good for a special event but not 24/7.
I honestly do feel sorry for people who have lost children, teenagers and really people under 50 but everyone of us has lost people and know how grief feels but I'm sorry, not a good idea in my view.
