Good turnout for 10 Parishes Festival 2013 launch

Some of the fifty artists, performers and event organisers at the 2013 Festival meeting.
OVER 50 artists and performers packed into Wiveliscombe Community Centre for the launch meeting of this year's 10 Parishes Festival.
The September event in Wiveliscombe and surrounding parishes will include a feast of art exhibitions and events in homes and venues, a buzzing street market and colourful community carnival.
Director Pauline Homeshaw, who outlined the planned activities, said: “The meeting was terrific, a really good start to organising this year’s festival."

The festival runs from September 7-15 and last year £3,500 was raised for charity.
