Hungry Horse pub devastated by fire
FIREFIGHTERS from across the county helped to deal with a massive fire at a Yeovil pub on Sunday morning.
Fire broke out just after 4am at the Hungry Horse pub in Preston Road.
A total of 12 fire engines were at the scene, while officers were happy to report that nobody had been hurt in the blaze which gutted the pub better known locally as the Bell Inn.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire. Preston Road between the junction with Preston Grove/Larkhill and the Asda store was closed for much of the day while the emergency services dealt with the situation.
