Norton Fitzwarren Annual Burns Night Supper preparations

THE village hall will be hosting the Annual Burns Night Supper on January 26.
All the usual customs will be observed and the evening will begin with the traditional Supper.
The supper will include chicken and leek soup, haggis, neeps and potatoes, followed by apple crumble, custard, shortbread and coffee.
The haggis will be piped in, and the speeches will be made by our distinguished guests, The Mayor and Mayoress of Taunton Deane, Cllr Terry Hall and Mrs Ann Hall.
Local Band Freshe Aire will lead the dancing after dinner.
Dress code is black tie and tickets cost £12.50, available from Mary Hayward on 01823-289717.
