HUNDREDS of people packed into Bridgwater Methodist Church to see 36 Christmas trees displayed in a festival.
The trees, a mix of real and replica, were decorated by various organisations, businesses, charities and churches from across Sedgemoor.
Church steward Jane Allin said: “We had an excellent turnout – I’d like to thank everyone who took part.
“They turned all the lights on in the evening, which looked magical.”
Trees included a knitted tree by West Huntspill Methodist Church and a memory tree, which collected cash for St Margaret’s Hospice.
Donations were taken by collection boxes and guests enjoyed entertainment by various groups, including carols by the U3A singers.
