Community chest for West Somerset initiatives
NEW and existing community initiatives have received more than £11,000 from Somerset County Council since July as part of its Health and Wellbeing Scheme.
Some 14 projects have been supported, including repairs to cycle tracks at Carhampton, a healthy cooking course at Alcombe Children’s Centre and keep fit sessions for the elderly at Old Cleeve.
