Hinkley power lines route to be announced
DETAILS of the proposed route for new power lines to Hinkley Point will be unveiled next Tuesday (November 6).
National Grid is planning to build new pylons along its ‘route corridor’ running north-east from Hinkley, past the Burnham and Highbridge area.
A consultation on the plan was held earlier this year and affected landowners will be invited to speak to National Grid from November 8 to 14.
