POLICE have cordoned off a newsagents in St John Street after the owner was held at knifepoint this morning (October 30).
Rob Webb, of Watts News, told the Mercury a customer threatened him with a knife at approximately 6.10am before taking around £110 from the till.
Officers are conducting a forensic investigation and appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101.
