FROM November 5 one lane will be closed in each direction on the M5 between junctions 19 and 20 for resurfacing in phases, excluding the half term holiday.

The 24-hour closures will be in effect for three days each week, starting from 7pm on Monday and re-opening from 3pm on Thursday.

What a stroke of genius, close off the lanes when people are trying to travel around the country to work and open them up when the bucket and spade drivers are about.

Well done highways, don't forget that it is the business road users that pay your wages

don't know why Bridgwater Mercury have posted about this because Junction 19{Clevedon} and Junction 20{Portishead} is NO Where Near Bridgwater and will NOT effect Bridgwater in anyway,shape or form traffic wise unless there is an accident , the only people that will be effected by this roadworks will be people either travelling To or Past that area every day
