Corfe youngsters get toddling for Barnardo's
CHILDREN from Corfe Baby and Toddler Group took part in Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2012 – the UK’s biggest fundraising event for under-fives.
Toddlers who attended the short sponsored walk at Corfe’s Queen’s Acre Green raised £200 for Barnardo’s Early Years work with disadvantaged and vulnerable pre-schoolers.
Nicky Keeble, who helped organise the toddle, said: “The children had a great time searching for hidden superheroes and we’re pleased to have smashed our fundraising target. Thanks to everyone involved.”
The group meets on Fridays from 10am to 12pm at Corfe village hall, and welcome parents, grandparents, carers and their children.
