Anna Maxwell, fundraising manager for Secret World
SECRET World Wildlife Rescue’s new fundraising manager has been challenged to raise £1million next year to keep the centre going.
Anna Maxwell, 32, is to play a key role in supporting the East Huntspill charity’s £4.4million Call of the Wild Appeal, backed by the Weekly News, to build a new Animal Hospital and Education Centre.
She said: “I will be working with three colleagues and dozens of enthusiastic volunteers, so it will really be a big team effort.
“Secret World not only serves Somerset from its base at East Huntspill, but the whole South-West, and indeed receives injured or orphaned creatures from all over the country.”
