Harvest time at the Field of Dreams

IT is hoped the Field of Dreams 2012 harvest will be as beautiful day as it was last year when 150 volunteer harvesters had a great time gathering seed to create their own wildflower meadows.

This year’s harvest at the Field of Dreams at Barcroft Hall, South Petherton, is on Saturday, October 27, between 10am and 5pm. Directions and registration for the day can be found at www.barcrofthall.co.uk under the ‘harvest’ section.

Entry is £5 and visitors can gather as much mixed worldwide wildflower seed as they want but must leave one bag for future Fields of Dreams!

Brian Herrick, of Barcroft Hall, said: “We are so looking forward to seeing as many people as possible again and thanking them personally for their generosity throughout the year. Let’s hope the weather is good!”
