Hallowe'en party: Razook's join forces with rugby club
2:00pm Saturday 27th October 2012 in News
RAZOOK’s hairdressers and Chard Rugby Club have teamed up to hold a free Hallowe’en children’s party and trick or treat run for the under-13s next week.
Michelle Young, of Razook’s, is the inspiration behind the party and is delighted with the help and support of other businesses in the town.
She found that over the past few years her neighbours seemed less willing to open their doors to her small children on Hallowe’en night. Families at Chard RFC have spoken of the same difficulties.
Michelle and the club are holding their own Hallowe’en trick or treat party that will start from the club in Essex Close at 6pm with staff from Razook’s on hand to help with the all-important scary hair design and face painting.
Razook’s will also provide a make-up artist to help with adding those much-needed face scars, boils and nasty-looking cuts.
Tea and coffee will be on sale for adults|while they wait with free party food for the children provided by the Secret Garden on Holyrood Street.
There will also be a disco with the Kelly Leigh School of Dance on hand to keep the children amused as they wait for their hair and make-up to be done.
Then just after 7pm it will be off up through the town where businesses will be waiting for the little trick or treat monsters.
To find out more call either Razook’s on 01460-67925 or Chard RFC on 01460-62495.
