Fire crews attend collision

ONE fire engine from Wellington and a rescue tender from Taunton attended a road traffic accident at Heatherton Park, Bradford on Tone tonight, Friday.

Crews attended at 7.45pm where a motorcycle rider was being attended to at the side of the road by paramedics.

One person was still in the car, and although not physically trapped, paramedics asked fire crews to remove the roof of the vehicle as the casualty was suffering from spinal injuries.

Traffic is slow with both ways partially blocked on the A38 around Silver Street.
