YEOVIL Town were one of only four teams in the Coca-Cola League One to have made 600 or more fouls in fixtures during the 2007-08 season.

Play-off challengers Leeds United topped the "foul play" table with 609 offences with Swindon Town in second spot with 604.

Millwall came third with 602, while Yeovil made 600 fouls during their 46 matches in the campaign.

Leeds also topped the League One poll for yellow cards received in league and cup games with 88, three more than Northampton Town.

Millwall were third with 82 cards, while League One champions Swansea City and Yeovil Town were next up with 79 apiece.

Relegated Gillingham, who had 74 yellows during the season, saw "red" more than any other League One side with their players receiving nine early baths.

Swindon Town picked-up eight red cards, with Southend United, Huddersfield Town and Tranmere Rovers all collecting seven.

Yeovil Town had six red cards during the season.

And Leeds United topped the table for least amount of penalties conceded. Not once were they adjudged to have made a foul in their own penalty area during the 46 League One games, while Yeovil were only penalised the once.

Relegated AFC Bournemouth gave away the most penalties with eight, as did Crewe Alexandra - more than other side in League One during 2007-08.

Ironically Crewe, despite the penalties, were the league's most disciplined side with just 370 fouls, 26 yellow cards and one sending-off.

Swansea City's Darren Pratley and Southend United's Alan McCormack picked up 13 yellow cards during the season - more than any other player in League One, while Leeds United's Tresor Kandol made the most fouls with 96.

Yeovil's most booked player was defender Lee Peltier with nine yellows, while midfielder Paul Warne picked-up eight cautions and one sending-off during the season.
