About this neighbourhood
Tregony police station is situated on Cuby Road, Tregony. The station is run by officers who are local to Roseland. With local officers dealing with local problems, we believe our approach enables us to understand and serve the community.
With responsibility for a geographical area covering the south-west peninsular from St Mawes up to Carland Cross, and Portholland to Marazanvose, we have a large community to integrate with. The Parish Councils in the area play a vital role in relaying your concerns to us and we do our best to attend every meeting in person so that we can hear your views and update you all on ongoing issues and concerns. Unless work commitments dictate otherwise, we will be there to meet with you.
All of the staff at Tregony are dedicated to neighbourhood policing and community projects. For example, we have worked with St Erme school and parish council. The children have planted trees, shrubs and flowers, painted the bus shelters and the church gates and carried out litter picks throughout the village. In return over the last few years, the children have had the opportunity to learn to sail at a Royal Yachting Association sailing school, near Portscatho. The children have great pride in their work, and a great deal of fun doing it.
At Tregony, we pride ourselves on the way in which we deliver our service to the people of Roseland, Probus, Trispen and St Erme, whether we are attending incidents or getting involved with community projects. We hope you will continue to relay your comments and concerns to the neighbourhood policing team so that we can respond to your local needs.
The force responsible for policing and crime prevention in this area is Devon & Cornwall Police.
