WATCHET folk can see an acoustic musician perform when he returns to a pub in the town next month.

Andy Doran, who has more than 35 years’ experience playing live, will be performing at Pebbles Tavern on Market Street on Friday, May 19 from 8.30pm.

Ben Allen, owner of the pub, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Andy is returning to play for us and our customers. He performed for us last year and went down so well with the crowd that we just had to get him back.

"His varied setlist has something for everyone and his music creates a great atmosphere so we hope lots of people come along to see him play once again.”

Pebbles Tavern, which was awarded the CAMRA Somerset Branch Cider Pub of the Year in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, specialises in real traditional ciders.

Andy said: “I had a great time playing at Pebbles Tavern last year, it is a fantastic live music venue for the Watchet area and I can’t wait to return to the stage and play for everyone.

"I’ll be singing a range of different covers from classic, much loved hits to some more modern tracks too.

“People should come along and have a listen as well as enjoy the fantastic drinks offerings at the pub.”
