Country music fans can see top performer

COUNTRY and Western fans in Bridgwater can see a legendary singer this month.

Raymond Froggatt will perform in the Princess Hall at the Princess Theatre, Burnham, on July 19 as part of his 'Movin On' tour.

Over 130 tickets have been sold so far for the evening, where 'Froggie', as he is known by fans, promises to make the audience laugh at his stories or cry with emotion at his touching songs.

Froggie, started his working days as a pipe lagger, singing in pubs and secretly writing poetry in his spare time.

Before long Froggie became signed to Polydor, Bell, and Jet Warner and his writing talent led to signing to major publishing houses. His songs have been recorded by Cliff Richard and Dave Clark Five.

Supporting Froggie will be Eagle County, who were voted Best Country/Americana Act in last year's South West Music Awards.
